About me

Hi :) I’m Cláudia but most people call me Klauz. I’m a Product Designer based in Cascais, Portugal.

I started out 10 years ago, as both a frontend developer and a designer, and I’ve never really stopped being both. These days, I’m more focused on wider product roles, researching, strategizing and delivering side-by-side with customer facing and engineering teams. I’m very curious and enjoy experimenting a lot, which spills into AI, prototyping, analysing, and validating assumptions.

I care a lot about collaboration and transparency. I’m a firm believer that diversity makes both companies and products better.

I currently work at Codacy as a Sr. Product Designer. I began working at Codacy on a side-project, and through the years, I have put in charge of some of the company’s most important bets. Before that, I was at Defined.ai as Designer & Design Manager, where I was also very involved in product strategy and decision-making.
